May 06 edit: Ok.... it doesn't seem like.... anybody's.... saying anything..... I guess.... we're not doing it? :P Or something? Meh.....

Apr 30 edit: Ok, it's time to begin. It's sad, only me, Seth and LostSoulMalachi signed up, but oh well. Go post a comment stating any rules you want to have (I think I've mentioned all of mine,) as for characters, locations, and plotlines, I think you can just follow my lead on the first chapter.

Christmas Sword has inexplicably left the site without hardly any warning. [link] He even deleted everything on his account, the only thing there now are my emo comments on the matter. But what about that chain story he was organizing? Well I've sorta taken it upon myself (thanks to a recommendation by ~Ognimod-Iernes) to reorganize the event and get it made. Sooooo................

Chet Hatton and ChristmasSword bring you the dAbdl (That is, deviantART's abdl community) in its very first Chain Story!

How it works:

Yes, I've made some major alterations. Bwa ha ha. People sign up for the story to write a chapter, I'll be writing chapter 1, the first person to sign up will write chapter 2, ext. Until we have 12. (If we don't have 12 by April 30th, we'll begin with whoever we have.)

Rules:
Since this story is written by several people, I think the rules should be written by them. So if there's a rule you want, mention it in a comment. (If your rule conflicts with someone else's rule, calmly talk it out. I'll make a final decision if you can't.) I'll organize them all before we begin.

Signup list:

2. LostSoulMalachi

Ok, I think I'll establish a few rules of my own now.

1. Keep it PG13
2. Every character should act credible, mainly in a diaper situation. Like if they start wetting the bed, they'd probably be very ashamed, not happy like I bet half of us would.
3. We're going to have to establish its level on the diapometer. Yes, the diapometer. (Diaper meter) There are five levels:

High: Almost the entire story is diaper related. Rarely is a single paragraph not devoted to wetting, changing, or regressing.

Medium High: It still focuses mainly on diapers/regression almost the entire time, but makes room for some character development and sub-plots.

Medium: It may have periods of time where there's no diapers at all, and gives lots of free space for other things, but it still has a steady and notable flow of DL-tasticness.

Medium Low: Diapers are almost a subplot here, with things like--say--a change, happening only a few times. Some people not familiar with ABDL may not even know it's primarily a fetish story.

Low: Diapers are practically non-existent here. They have little to no bearing on the plot, or it is almost never mentioned. And things like changing usually don't even happen at all. People unfamiliar with DL's would probably never guess its intentions.

Nice rules. =3 Sucks that C-S left, though.

Thanks. So if I remember correctly, you had signed up for the story originally. Are you still in?

Oh yeah, it'll still be on dA. But that's a good idea, if I do another chain story, Writing.com would be better. In fact WDC has a "campfire" feature which automatically organizes everything we'd be doing, but for now, I'm gonna keep it here.

To me, "Medium" sounds like the way to go (personal preference), but I think simply saying "no higher than High" might be a more appealing to some people, for the sake of a few chapters that focus mainly on DL content, and still allowing other writers who want to focus on character development and sub-plots to do just that. A story that is entirely devoted to diapers and regression as the only conflict and plot, though... well, I think many of us have seen enough of those, but maybe that's just my opinion.
